Recently I ran a contest to celebrate the launch of mine and HitmanN's latest game Twisted Fusion for the Wii U which launches this week on the 3rd November!

We asked for art based off the characters from the game, apart from that there where no rules, play to your strengths we said

Welcome all to the 4th Cora Contest. In short, submit art based on my upcoming Wii U game with HitmanN, Twisted Fusion for a chance to win eShop download codes for you and friends to play the game on Wii U before launch! The game launches in North America and Europe on the 3rd November.

Rules: This is a 7 day competition, which finishes at the end of the 30th October. Get your entries in before this time, they will then be ranked and rewards given out.

This is a very special edition as it is running alongside my Kickstarter for Wii U exclusive game: Twisted Fusion. Staring Cora of course!

The contest this time is to design a new costume for Cora (picture most be Cora wearing the costume and not just the costume it self) The voting this time will not be done by myself but by the Kickstarter backers! Please note the game is aiming for a T / 13 rating so please aim your art accordingly. This costume will then be selectable as an alternative costume for Cora in the game!

Prizes:
1: Costume featured in game & $100!
2: Costume featured in game & $50!
3: Costume featured in game & $25!

Deadline: April 19th (only 2 weeks!) - Backers will then have the week after to vote. Cash will be paid out  the day after results via Paypal.

Firstly thank you so much everyone for taking part, again I had many more entries than I was anticipating, choosing who would be placed in the top 3 was incredibly hard, so sorry if you didn't make it, it was likely very close!

I absolutely love the originality in this pieces and a great twist on one of the themes 'new year' , that with a whole bunch of unique touches with considerate thought on Cora's character. There's a beautiful cityscape background, individual cars, fireworks, the champagne gun, I could really go on. So congratulations for taking first place!

There was to my surprise a few entries that took all 4 characters from my game: Twisted Fates (& Super Cora-Bolt 2) and put them into a entry! However none where quite as grand or as detailed as this pic by Hatsuraikun, all of the characters are successfully portrayed in the features, postures, expressions including details of Cora's water pistols, even the location looks like its been taken from the game and transformed into this awesome rendition. This is the most 'epic' picture of all the 'twisted' stars together, congratulations on 2nd place.

RinRinDaishi included a link to a video of the creation of this piece and I was in awe of the process and watching you work. However this piece wins 3rd place on the art alone. This picture has so much charm and details throughout. I also really love the atmosphere, lighting and warmth of this piece, congratulations in placing the tricky 3rd!
